Hey Sieg, when you have a few, I thought I'd get a little head start to see if I can do this and it's pretty straightforward.  I did it for Renee and Lynn because we have security that requires admin for them to install, but you should be fine on your laptop.     No rush, but here are the steps.

SKIP TO STEP  # 6 IF VPN CLIENT ALREADY INSTALLED

  1. Visit the portal. You can access it by going to https://hacfm-vpn.tlftm.com:2020/  and log in using those new temp credentials and enter the Captcha code

  2. Once in,   Select VPN and then download the Client and configuration option and install it   (There may be a message about Sophos client still running, click Yes to proceed there.

  1. Next, Agree, then Install

  1. Click Install to install Device Software

  1. Then Click Next   Then Finish

BEGIN HERE IF VPN CLIENT ALREADY INSTALLED

  1. You'll notice Little Stop Light,  That's the Sophos VPN Client,  Like OpenVPN,  when logged in successfully it will turn green.

You should have received your new VPN credentials via email on June 3rd,  if you access SACS and require VPN access and do not have these credentials, please send a ticket and I can get you set up.

  1.  You can go to start and Type Sophos VPN Client and right-click the icon and click Pin to the taskbar for easy access.  If you don't see the Stoplight client there, you can click it, and it will start the client.
*** I know you know this, but just writing it out as I might send it out to all staff.   I'm going to get with Rhett on a policy to only allow self-install with this client if possible.

TO ACCESS SACS REMOTELY, YOU MUST BE CONNECTED TO VPN 1ST. THEN FOLLOW STEPS 8 AND 9

  8. User Remote Desktop Connection to log into SACS using:hacfm-rds or 10.1.10.15  (Note: you must be successfully connected to VPN first – Also login credentials are the same as your VPN login)

   9. Accessing SACS after logging into Remote Desktop.

NOTE: if you access any SACS-related folders directly and are not in the office, you must also be connected to VPN.
